Your accommodation will be at a boutique (shared) accommodation in the magical Dragonfly Village. Rooms are tastefully designed in a way that the natural world is very much part of your experience there. There are antique recycled wooden bungalows decorated with beautiful carvings, each with their own private outdoor garden, and a balcony facing lavish rice fields.

There are no air conditioners, however, rooms have ceiling fans and Ubud is slightly cooler at night and you will have a good and refreshing sleep. The serene energy of the Dragonfly Village will rejuvenate you on all the levels. The venue has an amazing salt water pool where you can take a dip, or bask in the sun in the afternoons, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

The sunsets are just spectacular from that spot, and you will be left without words. The stunning Dragonfly Village is all about living close to nature. They wanted you to experience charms of Bali, and be close to their beautiful animal friends, crickets, fireflies, and vegetation that abundantly thrives in this paradise.

Yoga

You will be having daily yoga and body movement, connect with your body better and understand its needs and abilities. You'll improve your bodily instincts and sensitivity to maintain self-healing. If you are an advanced yogi, you may be challenged to open up more to a self-exploratory journey, which is a continuous and exciting process. You'll be focusing on Vinyasa based yoga, which may vary from slow or gentle flow, to power flow. They'll attend to your various needs and meet you wherever you are.

Wellness and detox

You will go on a light detox according to a carefully designed food and drink program. In a short time, you will be able to feel the difference in mental, emotional, and physical states. You will also learn what is exactly raw vegan food and juicing. It’s important to understand what is healthy juicing and you'll learn to properly set up a detox menu and further understanding of healthy lifestyle and nutrition. This will deepen your knowledge of personal well-being. You will gain a deeper understanding of your lifelong habits and obtaining sufficient information to make the right changes.

Meditation and mindfulness

You will reflect on things you would like to change for the better in your personal or professional life that are really important to you. Mindfulness in daily life can help you in your personal and professional growth to live a happy and rich life with less stress, better communication, and more meaningful connections with people. You'll learn to be more present with yourself and with people you work and live with, how to deal with “negative” emotions, and how to be more joyful and in touch with your authentic self.

    Jelena is a mindfulness and meditation Instructor. She facilitates people in their personal growth and guides them in implementing the benefits of mindfulness and meditation in daily life by finding fine balance between the inside and outside world. You will feel safe to open up to your authenticity and motivation to work on transforming the areas of life where you want to see a change happening. She applies techniques of introspection and self-exploration and creates conditions for insights to arise, which will help you make transitions, and live a more awake, and fulfilling life.

    Madeira started his journey more than twenty years ago. He is a devoted yoga practitioner who never stops experimenting, and developing his skills. After ten years of teaching and mastering knowledge of yoga, martial arts, dance, anatomy, and capoeira, he artfully created his unique ways of teaching. You will immensely enjoy Madeira’s captivating energy during your morning yoga classes and benefit from his vast knowledge he selflessly shares. He teaches styles like Vinyasa, yoga dance flow, power, Yin, and partner yoga but expect to be invited to try capoeira or salsa during his free time!

This retreat will take place in ​Dragonfly Village, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. You will be spending seven wonderful days at the Dragonfly Village, just ten minute (one kilometer) at the outskirts of Ubud center by foot. Ubud has intense rain forests and terraced rice paddies, traditional crafts and dance, and natural beauty. It’s artful, creative, and tranquil, and it is Bali’s cultural heart. Ubud is known for its profound healing energies. It is now one of the meccas of health, and alternative healing modalities, yoga, spa resorts, and the culinary capital of Bali with its most amazing restaurants and cafes. You will enjoy yummy vegan, raw and cooked food lovingly prepared by a professional chef and lovely staff with living greens from the organic garden. There will be one day of juicing as you will be going through light detox according to a carefully designed food and drink program. Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar (DPS). Transfer from the airport is included. The organizer will pick you up from the airport. Please send them your flight details as they will arrange carpool for pick up from the airport within an hour of arrival, and you will be taken to the retreat center.
