Overall a positive experience. Pools and gym are very good. The appartment was newly furbished but not complete and ready. We had to ask for missing basic things as we needed. Cleaning staff was very bad and did not meet the requirements to expect for a hotel of this class. Wi-Fi was unstable and with periodical down times.

I recently enjoyed 4 nights at AMA.
I was traveling alone with limited mobility due to a recent injury - the staff at the hotel and spa could not have been any more helpful or supportive.
The girls on reception were great, helping me to my room, giving me advice about the area and I found them to be extremely friendly throughout my visit - even when I called to make a minor complaint - as detailed below.
From day one of arriving at the spa the staff there were great, Irene was very helpful and patient with my numerous questions and being very accommodating of my various and changing requests for appointments. I enjoyed the Hamman experience on my first day, the therapist, Soufiane was great, very professional and has a manner that makes any client feel extremely comfortable. Due to a back injury I was unable to maneuver myself very well during the treatment, Soufiane supported me with this and was able to adapt aspects of the treatment as necessary for me. The treatment itself is invigorating, very refreshing and made my skin feel incredibly soft, I would highly recommend it.
The colonic treatment was carried out by Johnny who also was very professional and able to provide this intimate treatment in a way that felt very comfortable and 'normal' - it was not an unpleasant experience and I felt great afterward, with increased energy.
The room was great, very spacious, large balcony and with lovely views of sea, pool and gardens.
The cleanliness of the hotel was fine, unfortunately on the first evening I was there I found that the housekeeping staff had mistakingly thrown some of my medication away. I raised this with the hotel staff who were extremely apologetic and arranged the next day to have these medications replaced. Not only did they replace them but by way of apology the hair appointment that I had booked in was provided free of charge. The hair appointment was also great, I had dyed my hair pink prior to coming away and Veronica, the hairdresser did a great job in getting rid of this and returning me back to a lovely shade of blonde - I was very pleased with the results.
The physiotherapist, Rosalia, was also very good, I had various treatments to help with a prolapsed disc and by the end of the week I was in much less pain and able to walk unaided.
The food was good, the location lovely, peaceful and relaxing - would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a chilled week and a bit of pampering.

We had a lovely week. Nice room, although the pillow was not really great. Great food, good quality and portion size (not too big, it is a health resort after all!). Friendly staff; for some English was a struggle though. Facilities good: gym, spa, pools etc. Free parking in garage. I would definitely recommend a stay, but...there is one downside: a disconnect between reception, restaurant and spa staff. I booked a weight loss program for my partner; we received some incomplete information at check in and had to find out the rest ourselves. Same in restaurant, you would expect staff to know what is included in the program, but often that was not the case. But in the end, many mistakes but only minor ones, so definitely recommended!
