"This place gave me peace! "
I loved the morning yoga sessions and the delicious food, which was provided during the whole stay.

"Look into this more before booking"
The accommodation was nice, though all open with no covers on the windows so you get bitten a lot, it’s hot and then cold and then hot again. The morning yoga was great at 7am - this was what you’d expect when a retreat says yoga on it, see more comments below for details
The smoothies are all the same but taste nice, there are unlimited coconuts for you to drink and eat and a sarong is provided for you as a towel. Washing can be done on site and the vegan afternoon snack is always sweet and nice.

"Yoga - and so much more!"
I went to do yoga, and didn't take any notice of what else was being offered when I booked. I was so pleasantly surprised at the variety of activities on offer there. The teachers, and the staff, were all amazing, warm, caring, and approachable. The food was stunning to look at, delicious to taste, and obviously made with love. The location was wonderful. It was peaceful and calm, and I loved that everything was made from bamboo and other wood, and so many plants. While there was a full timetable available, I appreciated that there was no pressure to do anything you didn't want to do. I loved everything about the week I spent there, and left feeling amazing! I would recommend Bahay Kalipay to anyone!

"A family experience in a yoga retreat"
The instructors were both very patient in their approach as well as infornative. I felt very lucky to have such hands on experience! The food each day was amazing,i felt incredibly better holistically within a few days. The massages were incredible, and I felt comfortable enough to try a colon cleansing. Each day was something new i could dive into,or just take time to relax by the hammock. The excursion i chose, underground river, was really interesting and a great deal. I am incredibly grateful for my experience and will never forget thr beautiful people i met.

"Will be coming back"
The food, the location, the atmosphere, the people, the classes, THE LOVING ENERGY, everything. What's there not to like?? (Maybe the mosquitos, but you'll be fine once you spray on some of their home-made natural mosquito-repellent!)

Eten is magnifiek lekker! Locatie is prima, rustig en lekker afgesloten van het dorp.
My stay there was literally life changing. They had the great staffs, amazing food, raw food cunningly made into various delicious dishes, and good yoga. This place can give you an opportunity to really make changes in your life and reset yourself. I came out healthier and a tea-total vegetarian! I wasn't expecting that.
My journey unexpectedly led me to Bahay Kalipay and it will always be one of those moments in my life that I could pinpoint a shift. What started as a 7-day DNC stay, with original plans to continue to explore the Philippines, ended up being 10. I spent it with beautiful souls. Kim, Tadeya, Mathias, Vanessa, Gia, were just some of the staffs that made it such an amazing place. I spent it getting to know myself through meditation, yoga, inner dance, long conversations, cleansing my body via delicious raw meals, and being completely with myself. Go. Be open. Be free. You are worth the investment. I'm ever so grateful.

Bahay Kalipay is an amazing place to spend some time for a detox, yoga, and spiritual development or just relaxing and taking a break from everyday life. All the people working there are really friendly and helpful and make you feel comfortable and welcome. Raw food served there was the best I've ever tasted and made me feel really healthy and gave me a real boost of energy. The inner dance sessions are something not to be missed, if you give it chance it can give a new direction to your life. Bahay Kalipay is a perfect place for healing and taking steps towards your true identity.
