Bahia Mar offered an exquisite setting right on the water. You cannot get a bad room. The resort itself practices sustainability initiatives which is a bonus itself. It is one big family. I was solo looking for closure to a long medical treatment and I found it at Bahia Mar. I travel often and if you want a place to unwind in an all natural setting..this place is a gem. Treatments were perfect and I left so relaxed.

Bahia Mar is a wonderful hotel. Quiet and beautifully furnished. Only 13 rooms all overlooking the sea with spectacular views. Great food and lovely people serving it. Plenty of trips on offer to Bazaruto etc. Great pool, spa, and gym (great in fact - considering the number of rooms its big and well equipped with classes in studio). One word of caution - a lot of steps to rooms and down to beach - good for your fitness though!

I visited this amazing hotel with a group of girlfriends on a getaway, and it was perfect! The rooms, the views, amazing service, and delicious food made for a memorable five-day getaway. The staff are the last word in customer service - welcoming, engaged, and all too willing to bend over backwards to ensure the guests happiness. I recommend it unreservedly.
My husband I stayed in a suite from 30 April to 3 May. The suite included a spacious living room with a full kitchen. The bed was quite spacious and comfortable. The bathroom included a huge bathtub (I'd feel guilty wasting water to fill it the entire way) and a "rain" shower. Outside, the suite featured a wraparound patio including a barbecue grill, table for six, and a jacuzzi-sized pool. Our suite was literally 20 meters from the beach. The staff was very attentive and everyone spoke English. We highly recommend the spa services. They were very reasonably priced and the open hut they do treatments in is very relaxing with the sound of the ocean in the distance. The food in the restaurant was great. The transfer from the airport was seamless. We have no complaints and would definitely stay at Bahia Mar in the future.
