Join the health and healing retreat in Tuscany to lose weight, obtain radiant skin, feel positive and full of life, and enjoy the happiness you deserve. The retreat includes daily yoga practice, meditation, wonderful vegan food, healthy living and cooking workshops, access to massages, and other healing practices. There will be guest speakers and teachers. You will get ongoing support and guidance to set goals and make sustainable changes that can improve your health and happiness.
The living quarters where guests will stay during the retreat offer comfortable and spacious beds, luxurious bathrooms, hospitable, warm, and comfortable living areas. The house is surrounded by nature and catered to create a romantic and welcoming atmosphere all around.
The farm house has five double bedrooms with private bathroom, and an apartment where it is possible to add an extra bed for larger groups traveling together. The apartment has two bedrooms with private bathroom, a large and comfortable living-room, a small but well designed kitchen, and a private sauna. Terracotta wood-burning stoves heat this bright, elegant, and cozy apartment.
Daily meditation and yoga classes will be offered in a way to relax, stimulate, and help guests grow in their own personal practice. You will have access to a morning and an evening session practice with Live Len Health’s in-house teacher, as well as other guest teachers. The classes will be held in the garden or on the rooftop.
Classes are open to all levels, beginner to practiced, and can range from gentle Restorative, to more vigorous Vinyasa. Style and class levels will be determined and adjusted to fit participating guests’ needs. Participation in classes and activities is optional throughout the retreat.
Certified yoga instructor and Live Lean founder, Chantal Di Donato, will facilitate the classes, helping each student focus on improving their practice and gaining new insights into their bodies and movements. The beauty of having a small group for this retreat lies in the luxury of giving each participant individual attention, assisting with their own practice.
If you are struggling with sugar cravings, this is the place to be. This time away from all processed and sugar-filled food will transform your life and teach you how to eat the right way, so as to avoid any craving whatsoever.
There will be no chores, no “to do” list, no stressful environment, and no noise. This is the time for you alone.
No magic potion, just try real and local foods grown in full sunshine, to give the energy your body needs. It will do what it does best, namely natural detoxifying.
No stimulant, just eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, alongside a lot of yoga.
There are no starvation diets. All food is just natural and home-cooked, with one special ingredient, love. Besides daily yoga practice, there will also be plenty of down time and fun.

Struggling with eating disorders, Chantal eventually learnt the issue was not food; it was self-love. She started practicing yoga regularly and found out what foods worked for her. But the most notable change was the fact that she was finally being kind to herself. During her training, she studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. She has extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health.
Tuscany is a very popular region in central Italy. Its diverse natural landscape encompasses the rugged Apennine Mountains, the island of Elba’s beaches on the Tyrrhenian Sea, and Chianti’s olive groves and vineyards.
The retreat will take place in a beautiful estate, in an idyllic and traditional farm house in the middle of nature overlooking the hills and surrounded by medicinal herbs, traditional pine trees, fruit, and vegetables.
Le Tassinaie is a small agricultural enterprise at Castellina Marittima, in the Maremma area of the province of Pisa. The farm lies on a hillock below the Colline Metallifere foothills and overlooks the Tyrrhenian sea. It offers amazing landscapes and the opportunity to plan daily excursions to see the most beautiful artwork in the country.

You will be served vegan breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks during this retreat. Le Tassinaie, by choice, serves a mainly traditional Tuscan vegetarian cuisine, using their own vegetables, legumes and eggs, and produce from nearby farms.
The farm does not use any kind of chemicals, everything is grown biodynamically, using byproducts of maceration and herbal infusions to create healthy ingredients, with high nutritional values.
They currently grow tomatoes, artichokes, asparagus, chickpeas, aubergines, carrots, cabbages, cardoons, leeks, onions, garlic, raspberries, apricots, as well as a varied bouquet of herbs. They introduced bees in 2013, which are precious for the pollination of their estate.
A wonderful traditional chef, Gabriella, will create and provide healthy vegan food as part of the retreat experience, either hosted in the dining hall or outdoors. The cuisine is simple, delicious, and with a blend of international and Italian flavors.
The menu will be a shared selection of cooked and raw goodies, with some decadent raw dessert and seasonal fruit. All the recipes will be shared with the guests, so you can replicate in the comfort of your home. You will enjoy sipping on amazing cocktails, whilst soaking up the sun.
Special meals will be catered for, so please share if there are any gluten intolerances or allergies.
The area is a veritable paradise for cycling enthusiasts, with extraordinary routes which wind between the coast and the hinterland. Not to be missed is the road from Castagneto Carducci to Suvereto via Sassetta, which is without doubt one of the nicest cycling circuits in the world, nor La Strada del Vino from Bibbona through Bolgheri to Castagneto Carducci. Another circuit worthy of mention for its beautiful scenery is the route that links Rosignano Marittimo to Castellina Marittima and the hilly territory of the Pisan hills.
Hiking routes of varying levels, which can be walked in a day, offer lovely views and full immersion in nature. Not to be missed are excursions in the hills of Livorno, the Sassetta woods, and the Macchia della Magona between Bolgheri and Bibbona. There is also the extraordinary route running across the promontory of Piombino, the green belt overlooking the Mediterranean, just a short distance from the acropolis and necropolis of Poulonia, a cultural and historical heritage.
There are many opportunities for taking refreshing dips along the coast. From the north to the south, the recommended places are Castiglioncello with the Fortullino beach, Marina di Castagneto with about 12 kilometers of coast, in particular the stretch that goes from north of the river Seggio and from the south of Pianacce to San Vicenzo. There, beaches are not crowded even in high season. Last but not least, is the fabulous setting of the beautiful Golfo di Baratti.
Thermal bath aficionados should not miss the Terme di Sassetta, a small thermal spring in the midst of nature, on the La Cerreta biodynamic farm, where they also produce oil, wine, meat, and cheese.
Wine deserves a special mention here, as it portrays the culture and cultivation of this area, covering not less than four controlled designation of origin (CDO) zones: Terratico di Bibbona, Montescudaio, Bolgheri, and Val di Cornia. With l’Isola d’Elba, they become five and are enriched by its veritable icon, the precious Aleatico.
