How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Padre Aldamiz International Airport (PEM). Please arrive at the restaurant La Semilla in the center of Puerto Maldonado, and Novalis will take it from there. They are literally in the jungle, nestled in the trees and three hours away from the city. You will arrive first by boat, then by foot! It is a comfortable journey to get here, and the journey is an easy way to experience a little bit of everything the amazon has to offer.

You will see river communities, miners, clear-cuts, small-holding farms, and of course walk through the primary unlogged forest, where Novalis is located! Please book flights for arrival at the earliest possible on the day of your arrival, or the day prior to your arrival. Novalis cannot depart for the jungle after 3:30 p.m. due to the safety of river navigation in the falling light.

Please book flights home for the next day after your departure, or ideally for the 2 p.m. or the last flight on LATAM airlines. Buses for Cusco leave at night time and arrive early in the morning, so this mode of travel always works well with a stay with Novalis. Any other flights mean less time in the jungle and are not advised.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
