On this yoga retreat, you will stay for 6 nights at Palolem Guest House. You can choose to stay in a private single room, a shared double room or a private double room. The room has a double bed or 2 single beds (on request), a wardrobe, en suite bathroom with hot and cold water, toiletries, TV with cable channels, intercom, fan and air conditioner, dressing mirror, secluded balcony / verandah for comfortable sit out, and basic Wi-Fi access.

Palolem Guest House is located on the southern side of Palolem Beach which is a 5 minutes' blissful. This accommodation in Palolem is an example of the old meets new. The guest house is divided into two blocks named PGH-I and PGH-II and both the guest houses are connected with a spectacular garden restaurant and bar. PGH-I tries to recreate the colonial era of Portuguese wherein PGH–II absolutely up to date in its approach.

The ancient convention of yoga is a beautiful and living tradition, which is much more than the physical practice of Asanas (postures). It is a comprehensive system integrating the body, breath, heart, and mind leading to self-development and to finding a deeper meaning in life.

The approach of the Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga draws upon the ancient wisdom and healing practices of yoga and offers an integrated and harmonious practice of Asanas (postures), powerful Pranayama (conscious breathing), chanting, and meditation.

The instruction style encourages correct postural alignment, synchronization of breath, and movement and creating awareness of the mind-body-breath complex. The coaches are also passionate about the therapeutic aspects of this ancient system and work with individuals with specific needs by using props, therapy principles, and viniyoga.

Yoga is about appreciating one’s uniqueness (physically, mentally, and emotionally). It is about acknowledging and adapting to change, continually redefining one’s practice, and thereby moving towards self-awareness and transformation.

On this yoga retreat, your instructor is yogi Satendra. He likes to draw upon the ancient wisdom and healing system of yoga and teaches from a place of personal practice and experience. He encourages one to explore their own personal potential and the transformational potential of this ancient discipline.

Yogi Satendra has always been passionate about motivating people to achieve their fitness and health goals and inspiring them to lead healthy lifestyles. Apart from being a personal coach, he naturally gravitated towards the practice of yoga and his journey to the greatest learning of the self and optimal state of wellness began.

He expresses deep gratitude to his teachers and Gurus, his family, his students, each and everyone who made this journey possible, and to Life itself for the love, guidance, faith, and inspiration.

    Yogi Satendra is the founder of Peaceful Mind. He has 30 years of experience in the field of mental and physical well-being and inner strength through yoga, pranayama, meditation, and spiritual approach like chanting and Yagya (oblation). He is also a certified yoga therapist and has a post graduate diploma in yoga science and has a certificate in Health Conservation from the University in India. His philosophy style involves correct postural alignment, balancing strength, and flexibility applying suitable modifications.

    Shreya is a spiritual and professional yoga teacher and co-founder of Peaceful Mind-The Ancient Yoga with an experience of nine years in the domain of yoga. She is a yoga mentor with diversified experience in meditation, pranayama, Hatha yoga, mantras chanting, and yoga philosophy. She is a highly dedicated, experienced, and passionate yoga instructor. Her acrobatic skills have influenced the vigorous yet graceful way she practices and teaches yoga. She can easily motivate and inspire people to go beyond.

This yoga retreat is located in Goa, India. Goa has a long history of mesmerizing its guest with swaying palms and shimmering sand stretch giving an enchanting sight. The state has an extended 105 kilometers of Konkan coast which offers untouched beaches with no human habitation, few with basic amenities and some with all modern facilities. It has been able to please solitude seekers to party buffs.

One of the major cities of Goa is Margao and down south it starts with the line of beaches. The 20-kilometers stretch of silvery white sand from Majorda beach till the headland of Cabo de Rama is full of beaches. The more one moves towards the south, the lonelier the beaches are.

Palolem Beach is commonly known as the Paradise Beach. Its scenic beauty of sand facing blue water completely justifies the name. The splendid beauty of the beach forces everyone to lose the senses for an initial couple of minutes.

The beach is a stretch of about 1.5 - 1.6 kilometers long shoreline with crescent shaped and white sand which does not become hot even in summer. It's further bordered with a row of palm trees where one can rejuvenate from the hustle and bustle of city life.

This picturesque beach is also famous as Goa's idyllic beach where one can enjoy crashing and gobbling of blue water on the sand. This is a natural bay protected by high capes from both sides giving an idyllic coast with flat and shallow sandy sea bottom.

The unique feature of the beach is its rocky mood. It has plenty of small hills and rocky crags and one could enjoy the much-awaited family time in playing here. By the end of this, all the body pain can be healed with a splash of cool water. The beach is a perfect destination for people of all age groups as it is a beautiful blend of excitement and calm.

Sunset at Palolem is absolutely magnificent. It is more than a picture perfect view and this moment needs to absorb. The sultry air, warm water, peaceful beach and the slow process of sun meeting the water body can only be experienced.

From far, you can see a brownish object moving on the sea, however, when it comes closer you can see the fishermen returning home. This real life canvas will change a lot deep inside you.
