The Sanctuary is not a hotel or a hostel; rather it is like a large family house in which you can support each other in your healing processes. The Sanctuary is housed in a luxurious colonial style five-bedroom house set within a walled garden in a peaceful neighborhood.
The Sanctuary offers a choice of private or shared rooms. Despite their own unique energy, the rooms offer proper personal space, comfort, tranquility, and inspiration.
The mandala master suite is the most luxurious room at The Sanctuary. It has a queen bed, its own luxury bathroom, with bathtub and shower, as well as a large private balcony looking over the garden. Facing east, it has that vibrant light from the morning sun as well as the evening freshness when it's time to relax. Large windows and fans help this to be the coolest room in the house.
The love casita has its own shaded rooftop space to relax, read a book, or watch the sunset. Located in the garden, within the walls of The Sanctuary, the love casita offers a more private space than the rooms in the main house. It has a queen bed and its own separate entrance gate, and it can also be accessed through the garden.
The nirvana room is sometimes used as a shared room and sometimes as a private room. It does not have its own bathroom, but shares the upstairs bathroom with the guests in the ascension and healing rooms. It has one queen size bed and a bunk bed so can be used for up to four people.
The ascension room is a shared room which you reach after walking up the stairway. It has a total of four beds, one single bunk bed, and three single beds. It can sleep up to five people.
The healing room is a private room. It has a queen bed, and it shares the bathroom with the nirvana and ascension rooms.
The peace room is a semi-private room separated in two using a room divider for massage sessions. This is another shared room which is located downstairs just inside the front door. The layout is exactly the same as the ascension room and it contains another queen bed and one single bed.

Puerto Escondido is a small port and tourist center in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. The name has roots in the legend of a woman who escaped her captors and hid there. The Nahuatl word for this area was Zicatela, meaning place of large thorns. Today, it refers to the area’s most famous beach.
Puerto Escondido is one of the most important tourist attractions on the Oaxacan coast. It caters to a more downscale and eclectic clientele than neighboring Huatulco, mostly surfers, backpackers, and Mexican families. The main attractions are the beaches; Zicatela beach hosts major surfing competitions, while other beaches have gentle waves. West from the town is a large lagoon area popular for fishing and bird watching.
