George welcomed me very well for my first days in India. He organised every activities very carefully like yoga, boat tour, canoé day and ayurveda massage and took me to very local and nice places. He also arranged me a driver from the airport to alleppey and also drove me to take my boat at the end of the trip. Thank you very very much George

"Wonderful homestay off the beaten track "

This homestay is simple and authentic and located in a beautifully tranquil part of the backwaters, well away from the more touristy parts of Alleppey. George and his mother and father were so welcoming and arranged yoga each morning and boat trips to explore the area. The food was incredible and the cooking classes were great.

I felt safe at this homestay as a female travelling alone.

"Fantastic yoga package in the Kerala backwaters"

Hormese George was a great host, all our activities were organised very well and we enjoyed the range of activities including yoga, canoeing, kayaking and cooking. We were made to feel welcome at their home and Leela (Hormese's mum) cooked and taught us amazing Keralan dishes most of which we had never had before and was the best food we ate in our 2 months in India. They even catered for vegans and between breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and fruit juices we were never hungry. The village was beautiful, very peaceful and only a short ride from Allepey. Yoga was great and we had a dedicated teacher just for us and we learned a lot in a few days. Highly recommended.

Me and my partner stayed with George and his parents for 4 days. We did vegetarian/ pescatarian cooking classes with his sweet mother, yoga classes with the village yoga instructor and boat trips with George. Everyday was filled with positive feelings, adventure and great food (I cannot emphasise the last one enough). When it comes to adventure, the best part was when George took us on a boat trip in the area and invited us to coconut wine. We also did kayaking and boat rides outside the village. We enjoyed everyday. The yoga instructor was traditional and strict, but very good. We learned a lot in the few days we were there. This is a perfect getaway for a couple, a family or a group of friends. George took care of us as if we were his long lost relatives. We are very grateful for the experience!

Danke :)
