The villa is owned by a Norwegian couple who have recently completed a thorough restoration of the house. This typical Spanish villa with its wooden beams, stone arches and terracotta tiled floors blends harmoniously with their Scandinavian ‘calm and pure’ flair that is very soothing to the soul.
There are 12 double bedrooms, a cosy library and a spacious kitchen and dining room where you will enjoy meals together with other retreat participants. The Mediterranean gardens have fragrant fruit trees and a lagoon pool with plenty of loungers and many quiet corners. There are also terraces where you can lounge and enjoy the serenity of this location in privacy.
Nicole qualified as a yoga teacher with an Excellent Diploma after a two-year yoga training course with FRYOG (Friends of Yoga International) and has since gone on to train with some of the yoga famous, and not so famous but equally fabulous, teachers including Shiva Rea, Liz Lark, Godfri Devereus, and Claire Missingham.
This retreat takes place in a spacious private villa on the coastal town of Javea. This oasis of calm is on a quiet country lane amongst lush groves of orange, olive and ancient carob trees and is a great refuge for those who love nature & big open skies.
You’ll be served utterly delicious vegetarian, vegan, raw food, juices and healing elixirs during your detox. All dishes are based on the principle that ‘food is medicine’ and therefore, Yoga Breaks Spain will make full use of ingredients known for their healing and cleansing properties. Your body will be showered with an abundance of colourful fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, nuts, healthy grains and legumes. You will be giving yourself a break from energy zapping foods such as sugar, meat, dairy, wheat, yeast, processed food, chemicals, preservatives, caffeine and alcohol, and replace these with meals that are highly nutritious, healing and rich in energy.
